Past Speakers: Monica Pelligrini – WWOR SportsEmmy-winning Pellegrini joined WWOR-TV as a Sports Anchor and Reporter for UPN 9 NEWS in October 1993. A native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, she began her broadcast career at WHIZ-TV in Zanesville, Ohio. Prior to joining WWOR-TV, she worked as weekend sports anchor/reporter for a number of stations, including WCBD-TV, Charleston and WJLA-TV, Washington DC. |
