Robinson Rising
Brandon Robinson was a camper in the Bruce Beck and Ian Eagle Sports Broadcasting camp in both 2001 and 2002. Brandon began his sports journalism career at 12 years old with the NBA's New Jersey Nets hosting the kids radio show, Nets Slammin' Planet on New York radio. His show was featured on NBA Inside Stuff with Ahmad Rashad, Hoop Magazine, MSG Network and Fox Sports Network. He has interviewed everyone from U.S. governors, athletes and television personalities, earning the nickname; Scoop B. Brandon is a graduate from Hofstra University with a master's degree in Journalism. He currently contributes to both AOL Patch and SLAM Magazine. By following the blueprint of summer enrichment with kids just like Ian and Bruce, Brandon spends his summers teaching a media and broadcast class to students in the Upward Bound program on the campus of NJIT in Newark, NJ.
