THE SPORTS BROADCASTING CAMP

FEATURING TIM CAPSTRAW & DAVE POPKIN

THE NATION'S PREMIER SPORTS BROADCASTING CAMP!
20th Annual!

What makes it special? There are many reasons The Sports Broadcasting Camp is the nation’s leading camp. We are the longest continuously running sportscasting camp in the country. We have licensed public school teachers and college professors on faculty, plus top network sportscasters scheduled to speak. We have two of the most experienced and talented broadcasters and instructors in the country teaching every day – Tim Capstraw & Dave Popkin. Tim is the longtime radio color commentator for the Brooklyn Nets on WFAN. He has appeared on the YES Network, NBA TV, MSG, and many other outlets. He is a former Division I baseball and basketball player and head coach at Wagner College. “The Capper” is beloved by all. Dave Popkin has called games for the Seton Hall Basketball radio network for 17 years (AM 970 & SiriusXM) and Northeast Conference basketball for the last 20 years on CBS Sports Network and other networks. He also has over 20 years of baseball play-by-play experience, including currently with the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons and the BIG EAST Conference. He called college football and basketball for many years on ESPN3 and ESPNU and has also appeared on FS1, NBC Sports Network, MSG, and more.

It takes just five minutes with Tim and Dave for the campers to realize they are embarking on a special week that most will call the best of their lives.

On-camera experience, daily visits from some of the biggest names in sports broadcasting, building friendships, and a field trip to a professional baseball game, are just some of what makes for such a magical week.
